Beginner's Makeup Brush Set

  • How many brushes should you buy if you are just beginning to learn makeup?
  • Cosmetic brushes are expensive but there are better options... and we of course, know how to keep your best interests at heart!

  • You will need(right to left) :
  • Face brush -to apply loose powder
to blend your make up or to brush away excess
    to apply bronzer/highlighter
  • Blusher - to apply your blusher
  • Eyeshadow brush - to apply eyeshadow
  • Blender brush - to blend your eyeshadow make up and also to apply eyeshadow
  • Lip brush - to apply lipstick or lip gloss
  • Sponge - to apply foundation/ loose powder

  • This is a very basic set of brushes for beginners only. You can use your fingers to apply but sooner or later you'll run out of fingers to use.. haha. ok lets see... 1 finger for foundation... 3 fingers for eyeshadow.. blusher how? 2 finger for lipstick..
thats 6 fingers.. don't forget you need to hold the makeup container as well.

  • Now, make up brushes are expensive. Good ones cost about 70 RM EACH!
They are expensive because the hair are made of squirrel's hair, horse's hair.. bla bla bla. and they are selected carefully and then trimmed to suit our makeup needs too.
but the good news is, you can use PAINT BRUSHES INSTEAD.
Provided you can get the correct size and type.

  • Hold your horses! Don't go rushing into a makeup or an art store to get your brushes and sponges. Blushberry is in the middle of getting a great deal for our readers..
  • We are going to ransack all the top cosmetic lines and list out the prices for each and every brush for you. After that, we are also going to get a good set in bulk price so that it is affordable for you girls so hold on tight and cross your heart!

  • Now, before we do that. It is very important that you know how to take care of your make up brushes. You need to learn how to clean your brushes or the colours will build up in your brushes and make your makeup application a chore.

Koren from Enkore teaches us how to clean our brushes TWICE A WEEK.

Look 0ut for an update later this week..!
