Sweet Fern Look + Blusher tutorial

If you think that having long hair or short hair doesn't really make a difference, think again. Cuz everytime I plop on the wig, whatever pose I do looks good.
It is like a beauty potion in a form of hair. lol

Anyway, Sequence Fashion Show went well.. I didn't really have the chance to enjoy the show cuz I was running here and there doing makeup, fittings, entertaining guests and what not.
The thing is, the crowd is not really full but even with the amount that came, I was already short handed and screaming for help.
I remember halfway through, I wanted to piss and eat and smoke and drink cuz I was hurting, hungry, thirsty and tired. My legs hurt too. Everytime I tried to ease the urges by eating or what not, I have to stop quarter way to work.
Wow man...........
Photos and videos will be up soon.
Thank you to all that came and gave your support. Couldn't have done it without yall. I apologize if I did not say hi or spend time with yall.. The next event I promise I will be better.

Much Much Much love.

Ok, today's look is a sweet look catered for feminine ladies out there. Long hair is a plus.. if you have short hair and people tell you that you look good in them, DON'T BELIEVE THEM!
GROW YOUR HAIR.
Anyway, I used shade 44 and 66 for the brows. Due to my artist's instinct in me, I rarely use one pigment alone for any application. I usually dab a few colours. So for the brows, I used both shade. Its a dark ash brown and a saturated dark brown colour.

Next, I used shade 1 for the brow bone but I mix a lil of shade 2 as well cuz we are doing a green based look. Green looks good with the presense yellow and blue.
You can use any white pigment or yellow colour for this.

Next, I used shade 25,26 and 47 all together in one brush and apply them on my eyelids blending up to the brow bone.
If you don't have the pigment pallete, you can use any yellowish green, ash green and mint green as well.

Like I said, no green without blue or yellow. Now comes the blue part.Get shade 80(dark forest green) and shade 82 (strong teal blue) and blend at the outer corner of the eye. Remember to slowly fade in the colour on the lower lids as well.

You guessed right if you think I am gonna use yellow. Get Shade 13(pure yellow) and brush on your lower lash line starting from the inner corner towards the dark green/blue.

The colours may look faded but when you line your eyes with black pencil eyeliner, they will look better.

And of course, curl your lashes and apply mascara!

For the cheeks.. does it really matter?
Cheeks blusher comes in :
1. near purple-pink shades
2. pink shades
3. near red- pink shades
4. light red
5. near orange -light red shades

That's all to it. If your eye makeup is :

1. yellow : use 4 or 5

2. blue based : use 2

3. green based : use 4 or 5

4. brown/black based : use 3 or 4

5. pink/purple based : use 1 or 2

Also, if your overall look is :

1. dark eyes + pale lips : use 1 or 2

2. shimmer eyes + reddish/orange glossy lips : use 4 or 5

3. dark eyes + glossy pink/red lips : use 3

So when you buy your blusher, don't keep buying ur fave colours.. get at least one of each 5 blusher colour tones or else.... i dunno or else what. haha.
Next tutorial.. matching lip color/gloss with eyemakeup!

I will collect and package immediately on that day unless they push the date again. Thank you for your generous patience and faith in me as a seller.

Sequence Fashion Show is tomorrow!! I am so excited!!
I m still sewing my clothes.... omg.. i m so late..
and I have to do my nails and all..

So here it is!
An exclusive preview for my readers...
EDIT : You can get the clothes now at blushberry boutique
1st of all, you can check out SOME of the clothes I am selling at blushberryboutique.blogspot.com

As for the clothes I designed, here it is!
They are all my style.. either sexy or emo clothes. haha.

I did my manicure too!

tada!

You can get all this at pasar malam.. the OUG one.. SS2 one.. i think
Ok tools:
1. 1 shade of color in shimmer and matte
2. topcoat
3. basecoat
3. muffins (sorry couldn't resist, looks like recipe list)
4. netting sticker
5. brushes
6. (ignore the acrylic stuff, I failed to do acrylic)
ribbons
7. flowers
8. diamantes

First, buff your nails.. wash your hands. remove all the grime. It's disgusting if you seal in all the dirt by applying nail polish over them.
After that, apply basecoat over your nails.

Then, apply one thin layer of shimmer.

Finish the base by applying one layer of matte colour over your nails. The shimmer will show just slightly.

Stick on the netting sticker on your nails. Remember to cut before you apply your nail polish, if your nails are wet you'll get into all sorts of sticky situations. After sticking, cut off the excess.

I wanted to do acrylic ok... but i failed miserably. I thought I was doing it the right way by dipping the brush into the liquid then the powder. but when I apply on the nail, it did not stick or powder came off. What did I do wrong???
Someone teach me!!
Obviously I haven't learn manicure before so teach me!!
Anyway, I stuck on 3d flowers as a last resort.

Then I stuck on ribbons at the end of the net.
As a finishing touch, I stuck some diamantes here and there.

There. How sad. No acrylic. sigh.

Back to Basics

I AM BACKKKKKKKKK
here is a full post covering my basic makeup routine from start to finish!
It is a neutral kinda look and its suitable for day makeup!

god. i m so ugly i look like an alien. lol.
ok anyway, the left side has concealer..but the right side doesn't.
The areas I applied are the following :
eyebags, eyelids, area around the mouth and nose crease, nose, pimples.
just remember to use a good concealer that you can build up again and again by layering.
I use Laura Mercier's camouflage.

After that, I use loose powder to set in the concealer... btw I skipped foundation cuz I wanted to save it and I do not want to waste the product. You can apply it before the concealer if you want to.

Brows application process :
1. Using a light brown shade matching your brow colour, draw one line at the end of your brow
2. Blend towards the rest of your brows.
3. Using a dark brown colour, draw another line at the same place right at the end
4. Blend inwards, stop blending when you reach the middle of your brow.

Using Shade 1, brush it on your brow bone. This is the area right below your brows. Blend downwards.

Using shade 43, its like an ash brown colour, pat it all over your eyelids. Blend towards your brow bone. It should reduce the yellow tones of your skin and give it a powdery look.

Using shade 66, brush it at the outer corner of your eyelids and blend well. it should just create a transparent shadow over your current colour.

Now use shade 77, a dark brown colour and shade a line over your lashline(both top and bottom). Apply til you reach the middle part of your lashline.

This is how it looks when its open. Blend the dark line u just drew into the other colours.

Line your eyes with a pencil eyeliner for a softer effect. For your lower lashline, line it halfway.

Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler. Hold it with your lashes between the clamps for about 5 seconds and release.
After that apply mascara, some mascara need several coatings for the lash elongation/volumizing effect.

Apply blusher over your cheeks! You can use the pink shades in the pallete, just use your brush and swipe over a few of them.

Apply lip balm to your lips if it is dry or cracking. After that, line your lips with nude/light pink lipliner if your lips are abit dark or bluish.

Dab abit of lipgloss on the center of your lips and smudge it by pressing your lips together a few times.

Now that is how an alien can transform into a hot chick. My life is so sad.. lol

Anyway, I made the clothes that I am wearing!!! Nice onot!!

SEE!! Dipping V back with X back straps. It felt marvellous to be able to make something that resembles what you see in your head.
