People were overly concerned on the economy crisis in Milan and did not give the Fashion Week the attention it deserved. But then again, Miucci Prada is the one that hold the Fashion Week together each year.. so then.....no biggie.

I think the pictorial instructions are clear enough... (since I can't read mandarin or chinese either)
but correct me if I am wrong..
1. Tie the ends together. Top end to bottom end.
2.Place it over your head like a necklace
3. Twist the knotted end and place it over your head. So its like a double layer thing!!

Creative Ways of using Black Eyeliner

The black sparkles can be replaced by dotting your eyeliner over your makeup.

How to DIY
Ingredients:
1. Clear Mascara (not black but clear liquid)
2. Pink sparkle dust
3. Purple sparkle dust
4. Black sparkle dust
5. Eyeliner
6. Dramatic lashes

Steps:
1. Mix 3 batches of clear mascara with the sparkles(One pink batch, one purple and one black). Each batch in a different container. Make sure that your mixture looks like glitter glue.
2. Apply the purple mascara over your eyes with a brush. All around your eyes.
3. Use the pink mascara mixture and apply around the borders of your purple area.
4. Use your black eyeliner and line your eyes thickly, paint your liner on your eyebags..just like in the picture.
5. Use the black mixture now and apply around the border of your liner
6. Use the black eyeliner and dot near the border of your liner as well.
7. Apply fake eyelashes!

Nude lips.. I don't see how this will work for tanned people.. Most of the works here won't.

Make Up Store : Group Workshop Review

Hey ladies, recently we were invited by Vanessa, Marketing Executive of Make Up Store for a Group Make Up workshop. Now, we are here to tell you about our wonderful experience during our workshop and how YOU can have an experience with the Make Up Store as well but you would have to read till the end.

WORLD OF COLOURS

First, They gave us a brief history of Make Up Store. Make Up Store is a leading brand in Sweden which was founded by Mika Liias. Now, who is Mika Liias? Surprisingly, Mika Liias was a model. He started off in one of the high streets in Stockholm and today, Make Up Store has about 130 stores in 20 countries! Well, his aim for Make Up Store is to create a “World of Colours”. So now we know the reason why the cosmetics at Make Up Store has so many shades of colours.

Ok, as anxious as you are, let me tell you about our wonderful experience during our workshop. Our tutor was Cool Koh, Make Up Store’s very own makeup artist. He started off by educating us regarding the importance of skin care. Well, he told us something which was shocking news to us. He said that if you put on your makeup for a day and do not remove them properly and follow up with moisturizer on your face, your looks will age 7 days older! So ladies please start using skin care products ok!

Then he explained to us about Make Up Store’s skin care range. Their skin care are mostly made by plant extracts such as aloe vera, apricot, mint, soya bean, melon, hazel nut and other stuff. It was amazing as we do not like to put too much chemicals on our face. Their products is both medicinal and skin safe.. oh heaven..

Then he moved on, teaching us how to put on makeup. He taught us ways on how to apply moisturizer and others. He shows it on half of our face and the other half we do it for ourselves. If we made any mistakes he will correct us.

It was the same when he taught us how to apply foundation, eye shadow, blusher, mascara and others. Basically he taught us the right strokes of different makeup brushes, how to blend your eye shadow with one colour and also how to change your day look to night look. They cater the course to your needs, teaching you which kind of makeup suits your face shape and eyes etc…


We had a great time at their workshop. I am sure you would like to know how you are able to attend one of the workshops. Their group workshop is priced at RM 89 per person, maximum 8 person per group session..However, Make Up Store and BlushBerry will be organizing makeup workshops which you can attend for an affordable price or for free if you win our upcoming contest! You do not need to bring anything or even put on makeup. All you have to do is just to get yourself there.

The dates are yet to be confirmed but it would most likely be sometime next month. We will also be organizing a Club Evening event at Make Up Store. This event is like a cocktail party where famous bloggers and celebrities will be attending. Details regarding on how to get yourself in will be updated at BlushBerry, so stay tuned!

Basic MakeUp Series II : Preparing the Canvas

Hey girls.. this is part II of the basic makeup series..
Today we are going to share about preparing your face before you apply all the colours in 4 easy steps
1. Moisturizer/Cream/Lotion
2. Concealer
3. Foundation
4. 2 Way Cake/Pressed Powder/Loose Powder

You can do the concealer first before the foundation or vice versa.
If you are just going to the market and then going back home, you can omit foundation for a light makeup.

For dry skin, use liquid foundation

Yellowish - Cover red areas (pimples, nose, chin)
Reddish - Cover blue areas (eyebags, moles, bumps)

Remember when we first started we said that we wanted to organize an event?

we did not actually said that we dun wanna do sales..

the thing is.. since we are a non-profit organization.. the event has to have sponsors.
and sponsors do not write checks to personal bank accounts... they only write into company accounts to avoid fraud...

so we had to

2. open a company current account - it takes $$$ 2000 to be exact

Hence the sales..we cannot depend solely on the Google Ads income to support our petrol..meetups with cosmetic lines..especially our monthly freebie to you girls..

so apart from doing articles we have been running around EVERYWHERE other than doing sales in Bb to earn some cash to open that current account..

So far we are already collaborating with Make Up Store.. which is fantastic.. There are going to be stuff coming in soon in collaboration with them..

we did not mention this before because we wanted you girls to buy the stuff if you REALLY wanted to... not because yall wanna help us make the 2k..

While we had fun days doing posts and helping you girls out.. we also had rainy days when everything we planned is lagging behind due to insufficient funds..but we never gave up you know!
