ooo. Umm umm.
Before curling your eyelashes with the eyelash curler. Use a hair dryer to blast your eyelash curler. Then press it against your hand so it's not scorching hot. (you don't wanna get blisters all over your eyes (: )
Then only curl your eyelashes. It last much much much more longer, and makes your eye look awake instead of droopy. (: And.. Umm, your eyelash gets like really really curled and you can see just how perky it gets. even at the end of the day. Yeah.
And umm, umm, if some pigments, the colour does not come out as they seem in the pigment pot. You can dab some onto a brush, and use a spray bottle with water. And spray lightly on the brush that contains the pigment. About 1/2 an arm away from the brush. So it's not entirely wet. That way you can bring out the true colour of the pigment, and also preserve the pigment so it can last longer. (:

Eye-opener:
Before applying mascara, use an eyelash curler to gently curl at the base of the lashes. Never beyond the center of the lashes and remember not to clamp down on one spot for too long or you'll get a sharp angle.
Natural flushed:
For natural looking glowing blushing look, bend over for 30 seconds, then slowly stand up. Areas where cheeks are flushed is where you are meant to blush. Apply blusher there to achieve the naturally rosy look.
Lucious lips:
For plumper, pinker looking lips without collagen injection, use a lipliner that matches the lipstick or a flesh tone shade. Instead of drawing a hard lip line, smudge it so lips look fuller! If you want a more dramatic fullness, choose a lipstick shade with a hint of frost.
Lastly, to avoid lipstick on teeth, put your index finger in your mouth and then draw it out slowly with mouth closed. All those excess lipstick that would have ended up on your teeth will be on your finger instead.

mine's nothing fantastic but an easy and cheap way to conceal your eye make up:
put some hair spray on the q tib (cotton swab)and dab them on your eyeliner/eye shadow...tadaa your eyeliner/eye shadow will stay for the whole day =)
Apply foundation and then concealer. By applying the foundation first, you see exactly where you still need more coverage.
When applying eyeliner:
Instead of stretching the side of the eyelid, use a cotton bud instead. Gently press the tube of the cotton bud onto the crease of the eyelid. This will stretch the eyelid without over stressing the skin. Stretching/pulling the side of the eyelid will cause premature wrinkles.
Also, when applying eyeliner, start from the middle of the eyelid and make your way to the side; this will help to determine the thickness of the eyeliner.
If you're felt like you woke up with your eyes extra small, grab a white eyeliner and draw a line on your waterline. This will cause your eyes to appear bigger and you look more awake.
When curling the eyelashes:
Always curl the eyelashes before applying mascara. The padding of the curler should be replaced time to time because it does and eventually wears out.
For stubborn eyelashes, if you don't want those heated eyelash curlers, heat the curler up by blasting it with the hairdryer, but not to hot! cause it might burn your skin in the process.
Get a good eyeshadow primer. This will help for the eyeshadow to stick on the eyelid and to prevent fall outs onto the face. Also, a good primer helps in making the colour more striking and more vibrant. If fall outs do happens, put a tissue underneath the eye when applying eyeshadow; so that fall out will land on the tissue and not on the face.
Use a lip liner. Smudge the liner and blend it with your fingers to make it look not so obvious before applying lipstick/lipgloss.
When using longlasting lipgloss:
Apply longlasting lipgoss products on dry lips and wait for the product to dry. Moist will cause the product to fade and it wont last that long. So for longer lasting lipgloss, apply on dry lips and wait for it to dry.

2.I'm using vaseline to my lips but hate the smells of it.Therefore i mix my vaseline with a bit of my fav lipgloss as well as the lip gloss which i no longer use in a small clean n empty pot

Foundation:
Using a brush gets more precise application and only apply where necessary (uneven skintone/blotchiness). After applying, set the foundation by pressing your palms over your face to warm it up a little followed by a light dusting of loose powder. In areas where you might get oily, pour some loose powder onto the cap, dab the powder puff in it and lightly press over those areas. Use a finishing spray like MAC's Fix+ or Evian to set your make up and get rid of any cakeyness. Get a duo-fibre stipling brush! If your make up gets cakey in the middle of the day, spray some of the finishing sprays mentioned earlier and lightly swirl the brush around these areas to even out and freshen up.
Cheeks:
To make your blush last all day, use a cream blush first as a base before applying powder blush over. To get a more sexy defined look, suck in your cheeks and apply blusher to your cheekbones (works especially well with round faces).For a more sweet demure look, smile and apply on the apples of your cheeks towards your ear.
Eyes:
Always always use an eyeshadow base either in a shade similar to your skintone or in the shade of the eye shadow you're gonna use. When using powder eyeshadow, pat on the colour instead of brushing it. This will avoid fallout and you'll use less. Use an intermediate shade of shadow between the highlight colour and the lid/crease area so that there is a gradation of colour and it doesn't look harsh ie dark shadow to extremely light highlight colour. When curling lashes, hold the curler in a position where base of the handles (scissors-looking part) is facing the front, gently lift the middle of your lid and start curling in pumping motions. To hold the curl, apply mascara concentrating more on the base of the lashes rather than the tips as that will weigh your lashes down.
To stop pencil eye liner from smudging, just take loose powder and brush it across the liner and voila, liner that stays put.
Lips:
To make lipstick last longer, apply with a lip brush then blot with tissue and reapply. Then put 1 ply of tissue paper across ypur lips and dust some loose powder over it to seal the colour. Lastly add some gloss only to the middle of your lips for some shine and definition.
When doing a dark eye make up, do that first before foundation so that any fallout can be removed with make up remover and you won't need to reapply your concealer/foundation..the whole works.
Alternatively, after applying foundation and concealer dust a lot of loose powder underneath your eyes so that any fallout can be brushed away easily later.

So i guess ill start from the hair itself.
1.To get instantly shiny hair,apply lots of conditioner onto hair for 5 minutes then rinse off with cold water(ps:the cooler the better),ull get an instantly shiny effect
2.For the eyes,try hydrating ur eyes with watermelon peel(very effective especially when u cool it in the fridge first).For those in a hurry but wants your eyes to look like they r groomed,use a brown/black eyeliner,draw a thick line over the upper eye lids,then smudge it upward to give an instant smoky eyes.
3.Use the highlighter of the eyeshadow and dap it on ur nose bridge to give it an instant lift.
4.Lips,apply lip balm first then lipgloss then lipstick.The key is to let the lipgloss attach better to both lipstick n lipbalm to get a longer lasting effect
5.A trick to the chin.Use the highlighter of the eyeshadow and dap abit on your chin.Then spread it in a circular motion.This is to give the effect of a sharper chin.
Actualy the best results are obtain if we practice and be brave in experimenting with almost everything.Have fun with it and the pretty you blooms!

Eyeshadow;
I know, most of us feels that the eyeshadow doesnt last long when we just dab the eyeshadow on our eyelid. The best thing if you dont have primer, you can use a concealer before applying the eyeshadow. No need to put to much of it, the thing is, it cover all the eyelid surface depends on how you want the eyeshadow look like.

to make your eyeshadow color pop out, use a black eyeliner on the eyelids surface that you want, same thing, it depends on what look that you want, after apply the eyeliner, after that you can put the eyeshadow, i recommend shimmering color, it's actually will pop out, try it, u'll see the difference.
when applying mascara;
look down and wiggle your head, so that the mascara wont touch your skin or it will ruined your make up.
if dont have a glossy lipstick;
just put on the lipstick, after that cover it with vaseline, but remember 1st protect your lips with some lip balm . So your lips wont look chapped. and wallah, you have the glossy look.
and remember, dont forget to put foundation on the neck, if not, u'll look like an alien, the face fair , the neck dark..ahaha..i have seen it..

Lips: In order for your lipstick to adhere longer, prep and prime it with a concealer. Next, line your lips and then apply lipstick. You can add gloss to add dimension.
Hair: Running your hair in cold water when you are conditioning it gives you sleek and shiny hair.
Face: Apply foundation with a duofiber brush like the MAC 187 gives you a studio finish look! very professional and good coverage.
Eyes: Using a primer like UDPP or TFSI before applying your shadows will cause it to not crease! LOVE IT.
Lashes: To increase lash growth, use the Ardell Lash Accelerating Gel each night before you go to bed.
Pictures: When getting your pictures done professionally, make sure you use more matte powders because shiny and glittery makeup will cause white spots in the after images!
Make sure to wash your face and remove makeup each night because overtime it will create wrinkles and age your skin!

Make up tips...well basically we knw that we have to apply moisturizer on our face before applying our make up in oreder to keep our faces healthy..then comes foundation and concealer to cover up unwanted spots and blemishes...so that our skin will look clear...and then pressed powder and finally "to complete the look...we have to apply loose powder...with that being done..we can next start on the eys section""by applying a lighter shade or eye shadow on the top most part of our eyes which is just right below our eyebrows...then apply a medium coloured shade""on the middle section of our eyes...and lastly a darker colour on the lid just above our top lashes...and for those with small eyes..using an eye liner to make ur eyes look bigger is advisable...and lastly...apply some blusher on ur cheekbones...when "applying blusher...smiling is advisable.. =)"

Applying foundation:
To get a perfect and smooth finish, use a facial scrub that suits your skin type to exfoliate the dead skin cell and apply moisturiser prior to the application of foundation. Be sure to scrub it gently. Mild exfoliation is good to minimise your pore size. If your skin is very dry and flaky, try to mix the foundation with moisturiser and apply it all over the face with a brush for even and flawless finish. To camouflage scars and pimples, dot some concealer on the spots and dab it using finger or a concealer brush. If you want to have sharper nose, apply a highlighter along your nosebridge and you will look fabulous without a nosejob.
Eye makeup:
If you want to have bold and dramatic eyes, consider to put on false eyelashes because it's the greatest makeup tool that opens your eyes. Cut the false eyelashes according to the length of your eyes and curl your lashes before you stick your falsies. For beginners, you must choose those visible strip falsies so you can have better control when you hold and place it to to the baseline of your eyes. Remember to use a magnifying mirror to make the appication easier. Use a dark eyeliner to camouflage the line of the false eyelashes.
For those who have imbalanced eyes size problem, you can place the falsies slightly above the baseline of your smaller eye to enlarge it and make sure it's about the same size with the bigger eye.
Highlight your brow bone with a pearl white eyeshadow to enhance the entire look.
Cheek:
To get a healthy and natural flush, look into the mirror and smile to figure out where the 'apple' of your cheek is. Brush a powder blush on the apples of your cheeks and then dab a bit of highlighter or luminizer to make your skin glows.
Lippie:
Apply lip balm to protect your lips before you put on lipstick and lipgloss. Be sure to choose a good quality lipstick and lipgloss as you want it to be safe when it goes inside your stomach.

There are some tricks of makeup I would like to share with others here when applying makeup:
Makeup-base:
Before applying makeup you should get your face cleaned and moisturized. You may opt for a make up base as it helps make-up stays on longer.
Concealer:
When applying for concealer,I would usually use my finger instead of brush. This is because your finger have the warm that can helps absorb better in your skin. I do this especially to my under eyes.
Remember do use your ring finger to pat on your under eyes not rubbing it as this may cause to wrinkles line.
Foundation:
Foundation should be applied with a clean make up sponge or a foundation brush.(I personally using a brush).
To opt for a glowy look, mix one part liquid illuminizer to three parts foundation. Once you have your foundation blended evenly,place your palms over face to further warm up the foundation so that the foundation will appear less cakey.
Loose powder:
To set the foundation,apply a very sheer layer of translucent loose powder all over the face.Pat your loose powder puff against the face. Do not use wiping motions, as this will partially remove the foundation and concealer. When powder is applied around the eyes, it must be pressed on gently to avoid accenting fine lines. After the powder has been applied over the entire face, the excess is brushed away with powder brush to archive a air-brush look.
Eyeliner:
The next step is to draw an eyeliner. When your eyeliner is done then you can apply eye shadow. Light colors for the base look best on most people. You can use a darker color in the outer corners to add depth and highlight your eyes. After the eye shadow application is complete, carefully brush away any excess make up that may have fallen under your eyes. Lightly brush some powder all over your face one more time to set look.
Mascara:
Always curl your lashes with eye curler before applying mascara.To have all your lashes curl evenly, curl the corners of the lashes as well. You may also comb your lashes with a spoolie for more seperated lashes. Always allow the first coat of mascara to dry for a minute before proceeding to the second coat to avoid from clumping. This also applied the same for the mascara base as it is more effective as the mascara and base formula don't combine together. You can try placing a business card over your lids when you apply your mascara to avoid having messy lids. (I used this way especially applying mascara to my lower lashes)
Blush:
Apply blush to the upper cheekbones and blended out toward the hairline. A bronzer can be used in place of blush for a more natural look.
Lips:
You may want to use a lip base to ensure longer wear before applying lipstick. Use a gloss for a brighter and pouty look. Remeber to apply concealer on the outer outline of the lips to define them especially if you're using lip gloss.

ok,
1.lipice(lol,advertise)or any lipbalm slathered in a huge gunk at night~wake up to smooth smooth lips!confirm wan!only thing is be 'generous',slather---means thick!lol
2.waterlining in black gives a very sultry look but can close up eyes for small eyes, so don't go all the way in (im sure a lot of ppl noe ^^") and use lighter/highlight colour in the inner corner and tears ducts area~wow eyes!white in waterline will make eyes appear brighter and more awake!
to make them stay,set the liners with black/white or suitable shadows by using an angled brush
3.don't blot your face in wiping or circular motion!!!just dab instead,rmb dun 'wipe' using the blotter!its goin to get all the dust and dirt into your pores!
4.suck in cheeks if new in contouring and not sure whre to put the dark colour~the 'hollow' part wen you suck in is the area^^
5.for my eyes,i love exploring with my colour contact lenses^^
green shadows make purple eyes pops!brown to blue combination are also popping colours!^^hehe,just sharing~
6.for loose pigments, to avoid fallouts/bring out the colour we always hear ppl suggest to spray brush with water or wet the pigment by mixing with water~my way of doing it is to use wet wipes/baby wipes(some called facial wipes,cosmetic wipes~it doesnt matter)pour the amount needed on the wipe and then grab the colour from it with ur brush~the moisture from the wipes is going to wet it^^ its cleaner and u wun get pigments everywhre^^
7.if i need to rush out but have yucky oily hair~no time to wash,baby powder/talc can help for a while~dust them over hair lightly,but dun do this often,not good for the hair~wash hair with warm water and final rinse with cold water(shud be familiar)
8.think i shud stop here,lol~
erm finally,toothpaste is a great acne treatment!if you are having a breakout/jus squeezed that nasty pimple,put some toothpaste over it~may be stinging,so do not put too much,a bit to kill germs^^

I believe in taking care of your body does help in making you look great too. Simple things like drinking plenty of water and having enough sleep keep skin looking nice. Eating healthy and taking necessary supplements can make you more energised and skin looking great. :D

I think that before we start making up, the first thing we need to do is analyze our face (especially our eyes, because it's the window to the soul!), because make up is supposed to fix our flaws! :)
Eyebrows:
A must for me, is not the eyeliner nor the concealer, but my eyebrows o_o
Eyebrows basically determine the overall 'feel' or a certain characteristic to our look. It sort of like give life to our face, and enhance our eyes (and our stare) too. Just like how the shape and quality of eyebrows of characters in anime and cartoons works with their emotions and their personality! :)
If you have wide set eyes, you can shape your eyebrows more inwards to your inner corner of the eyes, while close set eyes do the opposite, shape it and fill it in until the outer corner of the eyes and lengthen it a little, so the eyes will look wider apart. But only if your natural brow shape allow! It does not work on everyone though.
Brow powder is good for sparse brows, and it's suitable for a less intense look or a lightly-shaded brow. But I personally use brow pencils to fill in my brows for I have thicker brows. Eyebrow pencil/powder color should match with our hair too, eg. black hair with black brows, brown hair with brown... but when we apply brow pencils/powder, remember to do it lightly so that the color is slightly lighter than our hair, or else it might turn out to be too intense or not natural. Always refer to our natural brow shape and follow or tweak the shape a little, but not too much.
Eyeliner:
Although black eyeliner really helps to widen our eyes, but for small eyes, single eyelids, hidden double eyelids or thin double eyelids, it's best to keep the line thin, so that it doesn't cover the thin (or hidden) double (or single) eyelids, or else it'll make the eyes appear smaller. :(
Black eyeliner is essential in defining the shape of the eye. For example, if the eyes are too wide apart from each other, we can line our eyes slightly thicker in the inner corner; while for close set eyes, we can line our eyes thicker and longer at the outer corner too, so that it helps to balance up the distance. It's only a suggestion, it might not work for everyone, because we have unique eyelids and eyes. :)

A radiant complexion is the key to glowing beautiful makeup, even when your eye makeup is simple. i can go out pseudo nekkid ( face i mean ) but not without foundation and concealer. Here's something worth trying : run white concealer through the centre of your face in stripes form; centre of your forehead between your brows, on the bridge of your nose, your cheeks ( think cat whiskers style ) and last but not least, your chin just right under the middle of your lips. Then blend with your fingers, slap on your foundation and voila, you've just highlighted your beautiful features and your face is more dimensional. Buff some light bronzer under your cheeks and phewwit, sexy lady with a oh so yummy complexion and remember, feel as good as you look. You gonna love it. no amount of makeup is going to help if you don't have a healthy dose of confidence to carry it off. So as long as you spend some time making yourself beautiful, you will be beautiful.

For makeup noobs like myself, we will always make a million and one mistakes while putting on eye shadow.
The greatest tool to clean up?
Simple makeup remover and a cotton bud.
Soak the cotton bud in makeup remover and gently dab away the wrong colour, or if you're trying to do costume makeup, use it for shaping. Amy Winehouse's look isn't that hard to copy after all..

1. saturate a cotton pad with 'softener' a liquid based nourishing agent,( available at most japanese brand's skincare products) that keeps skin moisturized minus the sticky-ness. Dab the cotton on face, focusing on the eyes,nose and chin area. Wait until it is fully absorbed then only put on foundation/primer. by doing so, makeup prods are easily absorbed thus giving a natural look!
Tips on quick touching up eye makeup:
1. use a beige(or anything near ur skintone) colour cream/liquid based eyeshadow, dab it on the area between the lids on browbone, wipe it across the area and ta dah! it looks clean again then proceed with putting on eyeshadow/liner/mascara. this will not only remove the smudge makeup and also brighten up ur eyes area.
For the perfect glossy lips:
1. Put on a coat of lip serum, followed by the lip primer/lip conditioner, and then lipstick/lipgloss of your choice and you are complete with the perfect lips! use Nude lip liner and apply with a brush/applicator for maximum result!
2. To achieve fuller and pouty lips, dab lipgloss on the middle area of the upper and lower lips then glide lightly to both side, leaving the middle part shinier and fuller.

Make UP Tips:
To cover dark under-eye circles
Use an orange lipstick under your eyes, apply small amount on the blue/purple area of the dark circles. Then, apply some concealer preferably a warm based concealer under your eyes!
For long lasting lip color
Prep and prime lips using foundation as your base primer. Be sure to let it dry. Choose (lighter or the same as the actual lipstick color) Lip Liner and apply it around the perimeter of lips, then fill in the lips. Place a tissue over your lips. Not for blotting! Let it rest there and dust loose powder over your lips. Apply another layer of lipstick using your lip brush.
To make eyes look brighter/bigger
Apply a shimmery white pencil (eyeliner) on the lower rim of your eye and inner corner of your eye. Use peach color eyeshadow and silver highlights. Apply eyeliner and mascara.
To conceal blemishes
Use yellow-toned concealer to hide red blemishes. For broken capillaries use blue/green eye shadow added to concealer.

I'm Engmin from Malaysia and these are my makeup tips:
Prime lids and underneath the eyes with a concealer, then blend them with foundation on a sponge and follow this by applying pressed or loose powder. Besides evening the tone on your eyelids, your eyeshadow will go on more smoothly and last longer as well.
The eyebrows should be filled with an eyebrow pencil or kit which is 1 to 2 shades lighter than your hair colour as the same colour can look very overwhelming and a darker shade than your hair is too harsh.
To contour your face, position yourself under a bright light directly overhead. Contour the areas under your cheekbones that are shadowy. For best results, use a darker coloured powder or foundation than the colour of your skin. If you are too heavy handed when contouring, you can offset your mistake by applying neutral foundation or powder and then add colour to tone it down.

As we know, some of our eye shadow not stick well on our eye lid rite? So here i got some tips and tricks how to make sure eye shadows will stick well on your eyes yet long lasting..
First,
We do need put some base on our eyes before applying eye shadow.. Foundation will do.. Or eye base (cream base) also will helps!
Next,
The tricks to make sure your eye shadow stick well on your eye is.. Some alternative eye base that u should apply before put on your glamorous eye colours! U know that Petroleum Jelly can helps? Yes it true.. Put some petroleum jelly such as Vaselline [but i love Guardian Baby Petroleum Jelly] right before you put on the colours..! U will get a bold and stick well colour on your eye!
Beside,
U can also use your favorite eye liner as a base. Yes, even though it is in very dark black colour. Just paint all over your eye lid with your eye liner.. After that, put ur favorite colours and blend well.. As result you will find a dazzling dramatic eye shade colour on your eyes..

Do you know...
1)We often throw away our mascara when it turn into dry. Actually, you no need to do so!! You can wash & clean it and use it as a p.e.r.f.e.c.t. mascara comb^^
2)Got panda eyes but don't like to apply any serum on it? Put a spoon into ur fridge for 15 minutes, take it out then put on ur eyebags/panda eyes area, you will feel relaxing yet help you to reduce eyebags & panda eyes :)
3)Lashes stick together when you apply too much mascara? Turn on the hair dryer (low power mode), blow ur lashes till warm, then put some toner to a cotton bud and slowly brush on ur lashes to remove those extra mascara. finally, use mascara comb to comb it, so ur lashes won't look like thick and conherent!! Big, bright eyes are unbeatable ^.<

this is tips i pickup from everywhere and proven to be a good result (to me at least):
dos and donts:
- try not to use a maybelline foundation to your skins. while it feels good to your face, you will end up looking oily and shiny half way after the make-up was put on.
- use a cream based foundation while you are on flight to anywhere. it won't accidentally spill like liquid based and won't dusty like powdered ones. let your face makeup free until 30 minutes before it landed on your destination.
- skincare : try nixoderm for your skin and dont put too much on the surface, just a light one. your red bumps will disappear in the morning. however it wont work for pimples that's already showing. it will give you less after effect than any other skin cream (such as large pores and sensitive skins).
- another skincare for blackheads : take the white part of the egg, take one layer of tissue , dab it in and put it layer by layer to the part that has pimples and blackheads until it looks like a mask. leave it to dry on your face and peel it off slowly. wash your face before and after and afterwards use a toner to close the open pores.
- never throw out your lip gloss, you can save a lot on almost finished lip gloss. put them in a mug, fill it with water. put them in a microwave and let it heat up for 3-4 minutes. take it out and you will see you have so many lip glosss left and you saved your money than keep buying new ones.
